Everything in this update falls under what we like to call the 'July 2023 clause', which states that: If it improves your playing experience, feel free to start using the revamp information and use the Fog as an excuse for why there's been a change in your monster's physiology or psychology. But if you'd prefer your pre-revamp monster to stay exactly the same as they were before, that's fine too.
This means that if the Fog form schedule is in heavy conflict with your playstyle, you can choose not to use it. We just wanted to codify it for (new) monsters from this point on.
