I'm considering bringing in a character from a game I'm playing, Rimworld. However, Rimworld doesn't have any canon characters, only those controlled by the player. Essentially, they're all ocs. My question is, if I wanted to app this character, could their backstory include things from Rimworld? Or would I have to edit things to make a unique world separate from the game?
