Lessa could have a "placebo" effect! Though it would not be connected to Ryslig's magic, a fake Ramoth, or anything else, she could have a false feeling of normalcy when she attempts to use her former connection. (Of course, she would find herself unable to actually communicate.)

Alternatively, her arrival in Ryslig would ameliorate the psychological effect of the psychic bond being severed, to whichever degree you wish to play.
