Hello! Prospective applicant here. I’ve got a question about Black Hat and his appearance - in the rules it says non-human characters become human, but characters like Homestuck trolls can remain looking the way they do in canon. Black Hat isn’t human, but aside from his lack of external ears, flat nose, sharp teeth and skin color he’s humanoid. Does he fall under the trolls clause, or would he be more of an android character in terms of forced appearance change?

Also, if he is human enough to come as is, can I still choose to make him look human for his first month before changes start setting in?

In addition, should he be made to appear fully human upon arrival, could part of his monster changes involve reverting back to his canon appearance on top of whatever bells and whistles he acquires? Losing the protruding nose in favor of slits, having a charcoal color base to any skin tone changes, etc. It’d mostly be aesthetic changes with the possible exception of his canon teeth, though I’ll be honest and admit that’s mostly because imagining Black Hat with human teeth is possibly too disturbing for Ryslig. People have drawn it. It is very upsetting.

Obviously all of this is aesthetic and he will be human in terms of needs and powers regardless before any transformations start. Thanks in advance, and I’m looking forward to apping this wretch!
