So i plan to app a character whose game has only been around for a month, but the webtoon has been around since 2018. Lore is the same within both the game and the comic. The only difference being that the game focuses on the story of a traveler, while the webtoon focuses on mini stories from the view of the other characters. All are canon and the game and webtoon go hand in hand with eachother.

if i were apping from a canon point from the game, would the webtoon not apply to the age of the franchise despite this? The character I am apping is only covered in the prologue of the webtoon as well as he's not a major focus in the story being told in the comic right now, but he is in the game.
