There is definitely information about the world at large at libraries and such--however, almost all of this information is centuries out of date, so it's difficult to tell how much of it is accurate. (From an OOC perspective, this is because we want there to be opportunities to flesh out the world via player and mod plots. If you want to propose a player plot that describes the world outside of Ryslig, please feel free to do so!)

If you want more information OOCly, prior to the current Ryslig timeline, certain events occurred that brought forth mass destruction to the world. As a result, Ryslig is the only thing that has survived. However, this information would only be (theoretically) known ICly high-ranking Fog Priests--the citizens of Ryslig just think that they're simply unable to leave.
