There is both a military and a militia group or two! In fact, the former poachers could be considered an organized extremist militia group. Their operations are generally underground and not well-understood by the general population, since there hasn’t been a war against another nation in a long, long time. Occasionally, characters will be able to catch sight of men in BDUs doing drills in the open, but it is infrequent outside of their remote bunkers. What are they doing? What are they training for? It’s top secret. :)
