The bugs are doing exactly what you think they're doing! Living out their lives in Kulen, partying and celebrating the queen, and so on and so forth. If someone were to visit Kulen to try and say hello to the parasites, they wouldn't let them in--the queen doesn't take visitors unless its a party that involves EVERYONE, after all--but they'll gladly accept any gifts you happen to give them at the time.
