It makes sense for an animorpher to get competing instincts from their animalian morph, and it sounds like great fun to see how that will mesh with his new monster instincts after he transforms in Ryslig.
However, Patience would be apped independently of Monica. Both of them are sentient, independent characters with their own backgrounds and personalities. Patience would come in to Ryslig in her own body without Monica (or a human shape that takes the place of her real body).
