We feel that the 25% chance of sensing the Fog really harkens back to a time before the current mod team were in the game. For as long as we remember, the fog days have been scheduled on the same days for the same duration every month, mostly to simplify the back-end. There’s no real reason why we would enforce characters’ ignorance of predictable fog days.
All this to say: it’s all right if characters ICly see a pattern and measure of predictability when it comes to fog days. It’ll just pack that much more of a punch whenever the fog does end up breaking its pattern……
