Brasa is only a few hours from the mainland by ferry, and a flying monster would take about the same amount of time to reach the shores. You’re absolutely welcome to use volcanic caves for hiding out, but it’s mighty hot in there and it’s crawling with baby dream-eating skinks. It’s a pretty treacherous place for a hideout. Anyone who chooses to go would have to be prepared to defend themselves and set up a pretty nice, sheltered camp.
Aside from that, there isn’t much else about the island that’s noteworthy… for now. Something else could always pop up in the future!
