Hello mods, me again!

I was planning to do a thing in the Cube, so I was reading up on how it works and I have a question. I'm from Europe and not accustomed to square feet, so it might be that I'm taking a wrong step in my calculations somewhere, but... Basically, the rooms are described as "between 10 square feet and 30 square feet". It also states that "Unfortunately, you can only create things within each room’s confines, and the walls don’t disappear: only the illusion of movement can be created. Take too many steps and you’re liable to crack your nose on metal plating," which implies to me that the room stays 30 square feet (max) even when the simulation is running.

So according to the math I did, 30 square feet is about the same as a room that's 5 and a half feet in width by 5 and a half feet in length. Which is the same as 1.67 x 1.67 meters. That can't be right, can it? Did you maybe mean the biggest rooms are 30 x 30 feet (which makes 900 square feet), or am I taking a wrong turn somewhere?
