Along these lines, most of the Haftesal scientists will look at Saint-Germain fearfully (or even with disdain, like she’s a lunatic) for suggesting ‘space exploration.’ Everyone on Ryslig operates on the understanding that it is unexplorable and anyone who attempts to venture too high will be Swallowed Up. Perhaps things would be different if Night were alive, but… well…
The singular people who would be willing to humor Saint-Germain would be on the fringes of Haftesal society and thought of as quacks. Take that as you will.
