Hi, Ash!

Looking through a telescope yields a static sky. The constellations never change (if there are constellations) and the stars barely even twinkle or flare. There will be no difference no matter where you look at the sky from.

The moon appears to function similarly to Earth’s moon, but it, too, has a static surface. It looks more like a predictable pattern, flattened, and less like a scattered surface of pits and craters and deep wounds.

One more thing. The more your character watches the sky, the deeper a feeling of dread might creep into their hearts. Maybe they’ll feel like they can’t look away, or maybe it’ll send a chill so stark into their bones that they cannot bear to keep looking. Either way, sky-gazing at night can be a risky endeavor. Don’t get consumed by it!
