So! A discussion came up on Plurk that's got me a-wonderin'. The RSDOS explanation post has been up on the comm since 2014, and I wanted to give a chunk of it the same vibe check that we would anything else from that era - specifically, do the private-from-the-gods Spades rooms still work? I'm assuming that, if they do, they'd still drain your energy (and make you hangrier) to some degree. (And hell, are they even an option on the v2 laptops?)
And regardless of the Spades rooms exist or not - is this post available IC anywhere? I know the newer v2 laptops come with some helpful explanations courtesy of the Liewen Labs welcoming team, but a lot of this has fallen out of IC memory and it'd be nice to know how to refresh it. (The 'visual' example on said post lists a tutorial hotkey, but I'm not sure if that was an actual thing that exists or just a fun table-of-contents shorthand.)
... also, are the laptops waterproof? I've never actually been sure, and that feels like something that'd come up for a kelpie or mer sooner or later.
