So in the event of decapitation, would the body and head continue to function separately, or would the monster be two incapacitated parts until the head was reattached or the brain/heart were destroyed?

(sorry for all the questions, I'm trying to decide whether to take this for Nagisa or switch it for immortality in the sense of never physically aging but remaining physically vulnerable)
