Request: "I want to power up my Gauntlet so I can become stronger!" - Due to the events of the zombie plot in September, Rosch's Gauntlet will have been shattered, which means he's down an arm while he waits for one of the engineer/science-type characters to put it back together. In the meantime, he'll seek out Mana for his request because he doesn't want to sit around like a lump while he waits for his Gauntlet to be repaired.
Backfire? Instead of regaining one of his canon abilities, he gets electricity/taser powers
Quest? I've got one in mind, but feel free to add details or modify it, as needed!
First, Rosch needs to travel to the cavern at Plaga's Peak (the same place the 'Nesters and then Greed went to explore before) and find a raw crystal, probably about as big as his fist. After he's obtained the crystal, he needs to travel to the desert outside Djävulenstad and wait for a storm to arrive. Once the storm sets in, he has to dodge the lightning 200 times in a row leave the crystal in a high place and wait for it to be struck by lightning. He has to stay nearby (within 100 feet of the stone's location) the whole time, which means he's gotta camp out during the storm.
After the crystal has been successfully charged with lightning, he needs to take it to bury it in the ground and let it rest until the full moon occurs on the 24th. Under no circumstances should anyone be allowed to dig it up prior to that day.
When the sun sets on the 24th, he must dig up the crystal and take it to a place where the full moon's light can fall upon it unimpeded. It must be a place outside of any human habitations, such as a field or a forest, and he must hold the crystal in his hand toward the moon's light for as long as it is present in the sky. Once the moon has set, the ritual is complete.
Afterward, he may then take the crystal to whomever is repairing his Gauntlet for them to use as one of its Core Parts. The crystal can then be cut and faceted and integrated into the Gauntlet, similar to how sapphire movements are used in old pocket watches. Any leftover pieces not used in the Gauntlet's construction will still retain a charge, but only for a year's time. Should his Gauntlet be damaged severely, these pieces can be used to replace any of the ones that might have been broken.
