TIER 1 FOG TIME-

After a fair amount of discussion with the other player involved in the recruitment thread, it was eventually determined that while the Fog God's answer will affect the dedication Loki displays toward her, he will be joining no matter what!

Given that I've left this hanging for a Heck of a long time though, I'm imposing my own personal 'OOC consequence' to hopefully make up for it; namely the personal restriction that Loki not be able to try for Tier 2 until at least a month after the OOC approval of the boons, despite the IC timing being....two months back.

Proposed(?) Consequences of Leaving the Fourth God while we're at it-
  • Extreme Withdrawal symptoms; he was a tier 3 follower, so it's expected there'd be some backlash from the sudden separation from a god here.
  • Immediate loss of boons; speaks for itself. This ended in his 'healed' boons via the Tier 3 level immediately disintegrating...if it wasn't for Nagisa being there, he'd probably have died as a result.

    Character Name: Loki
    Alignment: FOG
Offering Description: Joining on after awkward shouting at clouds in Spooky Abandoned Dyster
Link: Technically he was hers as soon as he said 'if you'll have me', he's just still being irritated by that One Thing
    Reward Tier: Tier 1
    Reward Description:
  • Minor body modification (Nucleus resembles a bloodied 'moon', bringing a cloudy trail of 'blood' as it moves through Loki's slime)
  • Resurrection within Dyster after 2-3 days of death
  • Instinctive knowledge of personal hunger and hunting methods
  • A small home in Dyster-presumably close to all the town activity. You can deal with being kept awake by chanting and fog prayers, Loki. Not to mention, their ~Supervision~
  • Minor Power: Textured Camouflage/Hardening Slime - Technically the same power, with one being a consequence of the other, it's a minor upgrade to shapeshifting that allows Loki to alter the actual texture of his slime.

'But Usagi, isn't that more of a stealthy sneaky thing?!' NO sort of- The idea is actually more to enhance the legitimacy of spooky scary forms-it's easier to scare the pants off someone if you can, however briefly, actually Block them while in your weird shape instead of watching something sink through you. (Likewise, how scary is it when the wall you swore was a wall suddenly starts pulling you in!)

Obviously while he can harden enough to block stuff it's not like he can. Deflect a bullet though. It's more like having a thin layer of china over everything, so it's not actually useful as a defense.

Backfire (for abilities characters wouldn't ask for ICly): Loki's sudden turn over isn't something the Fog God is just assuming would go well-she's been bitten that way before after all, so as much as she would never turn away one of her 'children', she's probably not going to just hand them a sword.

Fortunately, Loki's state of being at the time worked well for that! Being largely human at the time, none of the granted boons would have come into being by then. In fact, they won't function at all until he's fully transformed (outside the physical one, obviously). Aside from that, it might...take a few weeks before the Dyster citizens stop eyeing him somewhat warily. He did kind of have a hand in the destruction of the Obelisk after all, however 'indirectly'.
