Character Name: L Lawliet
Alignment: Fog
Offering Description: Conversion of a neutral character, Mello
Link: Here.
Reward Tier: 2
Reward Description:
A second power appropriate to the Fog god: Animated Shadow, variation on darkness manipulation powers. Basically I'd like for L to be able to manipulate the shadows of himself and others; bright light saturation would render this power pretty much useless (as would total dark), but in most environments he could cause shadows to inflict physical harm on others or use them to hold others in place. In most cases*, this would be limited to traits the shadow possesses (ie, a human shadow wouldn't have more strength than a human, a wolf's shadow would be able to bite with the force of the wolf that casts that shadow.) Any psychic, feeding or mental abilities possessed by the shadow's caster couldn't be replicated through the shadow; for example, a demon's shadow wouldn't be able to take a soul or possess someone. The effects would be purely physical and limited by the strength of whatever the shadow belongs to.

A bigger room in Dyster (queen-size bed, windows, storage): Yes, please

Instant resurrection in Dyster after being killed: Yes, please

A major body modification (e.g. flightless wings, large horns, extra limbs): I'm happy with the physical appearance of L's monster form... but to go with the power I'm requesting, I'd really like for him to have a scarier, tougher shadow*. Essentially something larger than a monster his size could feasibly cast, with powerful wings, very large teeth and curved, cruel claws. It would increase in size and scariness when L is paranoid, defensive or hostile.

Taking on a new way to feed (flesh, energy, souls). This doesn’t replace your old one, but gives you a second option.: Energy, please!
Backfire (for abilities characters wouldn't ask for ICly): L's new shadow has a mind of its own and behaves maliciously, and any damage taken by any shadow he controls (his own or others) is inflicted and felt directly on his physical body.
