OK SO I have this cool but very gross idea for Zangetsu when he eventually pledges Fog and I was wondering what tier this would fall under.

CW for parasitism, bugs, bugs inside people, vomitZangetsu's backstory involves an aspect of infection/parasitism and I'd like to include that in Zan's power set here as a faerie, which I am partially basing on parasitoid wasps! Parasitoid wasps lay their eggs in or on host insects, and the larvae consume their hosts. This was the inspiration of the life cycle of the Xenomorphs in Alien!!! fun facts.

My thought is that this could be tier 2 -- rolling together the Fog appropriate power and alternate feeding method into one package.

Zan would be able to inject magical venom into human victims, a host. The host would initially experience fatigue, flu-like symptoms, and increased hunger. It would progress to ravenous, almost insatiable hunger and pain in the chest over the course of a few days. Finally, after about a week, the host would enter the terminal phase of the infection -- they would vomit up large amounts of blood, followed by a thick white liquid. This liquid solidifies into a brittle, bone-like mask over the host's face. A hole opens in the host's chest, also leaking the same white fluid. From this hole in the now deceased, 10-15 white insects about the size of a large mouse or small rat will emerge and fly back to wherever Zangetsu is. Autopsies will reveal that the hosts are completely empty, like a shell. Brains, organs, bones -- all consumed by the infection.

These bugs are not truly "alive", and are constructs of faerie magic. Aside from a nasty bite with their mandibles, they are defenseless and can be squished or swatted. They turn into the same white goop when they are killed. The host's life energy is distributed through these bugs! So Zangetsu can eat all of them to get the equivalent of one human feeding, or save them for later. Additionally, it would be neat if other monsters could eat them for a quick boost as well.

They would not keep indefinitely, and would only have a lifespan of about 2 weeks after they emerge, after which they dissolve into inert goop that quickly dries and flakes away, and no longer provide energy. Additionally, Zangetsu would only be able to infect one human every other week. The venom, when used on monsters, only causes about 24 hours of flu-like symptoms and nothing else. The monsters with poison and venom resistance would not suffer any ill effects.

This sounds complex, but in short it's a delayed feeding method with a short-term caching/sharing/parceling aspect. It also fits in with the Fog's desire to instill terror -- not much out there more creepy than parasitoids!! It MAY be more appropriate for a tier 3. Up to you guys!

ANOTHER FOG POWER QUESTION, this one without any CWs: What tier would relativistic strength be for a faerie? That is to say, they would maintain their monster super strength even at a tiny size.
