Character Name: Madoka Kaname
Alignment: Fog

Retained Fog Boons:
-Madoka's stronger during the Fog (by a factor of 1.2, evidently)
-Madoka feels compelled to protect fellow Fog Followers/attack Fourth Followers (though is usually able to avoid this urge)
I'll be discarding the peryton form/humanoid, since she grew normal wings and is basically a permaperyton now. Permaton.

Offering Description: Aligned since October 2014.
Link: Warning for death.
Reward Tier: Tier 1
Reward Description: Taking everything.
Minor power: Freezing mist. At will, Madoka can release an icy mist around herself, which reduces visibility of everything within. The mist is always centered on Madoka, and does not go very far (10m at most). As the mist is intensely humid, surfaces inside will become icy and slick. The ice inside is extremely cold; it is very painful to humans, though not lethal unless kept for a long period of time, and ranges from uncomfortable to painful for non-undead monsters. This is not the Fog God's fog, and as such does not affect monsters in any way normal fog would.

Minor body modification: Madoka trails light wisps of fog wherever she goes, mostly as a "path" left behind her. This is purely cosmetic, and would act in any way as the Fog God's fog would.

Backfire: Not a backfire per se, but Madoka will ask for this power specifically as "a way to protect my friends."

Offering Description: Adept since August 2015.
Link: Warning for zombies.
Reward Tier: Tier 2
Reward Description: Taking everything.
Medium power: Reanimation. If Madoka kills a human being and holds on to their body (or what's left of it), she may reanimate the remains as a nonsentient undead body. This body decays as a normal would, and is held together/acts through magic (so a skeleton would not fall apart from lack of muscle). She may have up to ten (10) undead at any one time; if she attempts to animate more past this, the earliest one animated will crumble into dust. (I am fine with restricting the number of undead kept or limiting this power to once per day if necessary; if she can have fewer limits, I'm also fine with that!)

The bodies have no intelligence or way to communicate information to others. Further, they will not understand any particularly complex commands. For instance, "scrub the floor" and "attack the human" would be usable commands, but "bake these cookies for 30 minutes" would not. The bodies are sluggish and bordering on useless where combat is concerned; an average and unassisted human would be able to take one out easily, provided they have some sort of weapon or stick nearby.

Major body modification: Similar to her fog form, the area that used to hold Madoka's soul gem collapses into a permanent hole (4-5 inches diameter) in her chest. This hole appears to be natural, as if her body initially developed with a large hole in her upper chest; no viscera is visible, and the sides of the hole are covered with skin. The mountain rune overlaying this remains where it is; it simply curves inward and coat the skin bordering the hole. The hole is mundane aside from her Major Power and new feeding method; if someone wanted to stick their arm through it, nothing would happen except for Madoka feeling immensely awkward.

New way to feed: Madoka gains the ability to feed through draining a human being's fear (a subset of energy feeding), provided that she inspired that fear herself. Greater terror feeds her more; whereas a human just seeing her fog form might provide a few minutes' worth of energy, a human panicking over a long and sustained chase in which she toys with them might provide week. If possible, I'd like this to be a part of her Major Power below. However, even if this is not acceptable, the fear will drain visibly from people into the hole in her chest.

Backfire: Once again, not a backfire, but Madoka will request this as a power that "lets her make new friends."

Offering Description: Madoka will become a zealot by killing Fiddleford McGucket as a intentionally offered sacrifice for the Fog God.
Link: Warning for complete failures.
Reward Tier: Tier 3
Reward Description: Taking everything.
Major power: Drain. Madoka gains the ability to absorb various things from other people. When Madoka absorbs something, it forms a visible energy that is then drawn into the hole in her chest. This absorption rapidly drains her target of whatever it is she is choosing to take, and gives Madoka that thing for the next ten minutes. She may only drain an unwilling person once per day per person, and she may only have one thing absorbed at any given time.

Further, Madoka can only drain a clearly defined subset of things. I'd really like this power to have a few different applications, so I've listed several possibilities below in order from "things I really want to keep" down to "things that might be kind of neat if you're cool with it I guess":

Emotions: Madoka may drain a specific emotion from her target into herself for ten minutes. She may only take one emotion at a time; thus she may drain a terrified target of fear, but confusion would remain in them. She feels the emotion as strongly as her target was feeling, and cannot choose to return the emotion early, though she can try to work through it while she has it. (If her alternate feeding method is approved, taking fear will only sustain her if the fear was inspired directly by her.)

Wounds: Madoka may drain a target of their injuries, taking them onto herself instead for ten minutes. As an undead creature, she is significantly better suited to many types of wounds and injuries than some other monsters; however, she can still die from these wounds if they are severe enough. If Madoka dies while someone's wounds are in her, the wounds do not return after the ten minute period.

Life: Madoka may drain a target of their very life itself, becoming alive once again for ten minutes while her target becomes undead. Neither her nor her target go through any mental changes or gain any additional powers/weaknesses (aside from from those granted by being undead) from this swap; Madoka remains in every other way a wendigo, and her target remains in every other way what they are normally. This can be as painful on both sides as the involved party would like.

As an example, if Madoka drained a gargoyle of its life, her organs would begin to function normally again, her blood would start circulating, and she would need to breathe. Similarly, the gargoyle's organs would temporarily stop functioning, their blood would cease to circulate, and they would no longer need to breathe. However, the gargoyle would still turn to stone in daylight, and Madoka would still be frozen to the touch and ravenous.

Physical power: Madoka may drain a target of its strength, speed, or vitality and gain it instead for ten minutes. For instance, if she drained a troll of strength, that troll might have the strength of a human, and Madoka might have the troll's strength instead. In the case that Madoka absorbs someone's "vitality" or "good health" while in a near-death state, if she is not healed within the ten minutes time she has bought herself, she will immediately return to that near-death state afterwards.

Supernatural abilities: Madoka may drain a target of a specific ability, such as a troll's heat vision or a vampire's ability to turn into a bat, for ten minutes. She will have no idea how to use any of the things she takes without long periods of intentional training with them, and will have no "instinct" to guide her in their use.

Physical attributes: Madoka may absorb a single, clearly defined feature from a human or other monster for ten minutes. For instance, she could take the scorpion tail from an arachnid, or the large wings of a faerie. Once again, she will have no idea how to use any of the things she takes without long periods of intentional training with them, and will have no "instinct" to guide her in their use. Madoka cannot use this power to kill someone - for instance, she could not steal someone's heart and let them die - and if use of her power would reasonably kill a person, they will be kept alive and fully functional for the duration of those ten minutes instead.

For example: if Madoka steals a person's "face", she would wear their face for ten minutes while they would be left completely featureless. However, they would still be able to breathe and function normally, aside from an inability to speak without a mouth.

Alternate form: I would like Madoka's fog form to become "fully functional" once again; that is, all the eyes will become capable of seeing, the mouths will all be capable of speaking and eating separately and controllably, and the hands on her wings will all be capable of functioning independently. This will take a long amount of practice to get used to, and it will still be a fog-only form.

Neutral protection: If this can be changed later, Madoka will make her request later; however, if it needs chosen now, Madoka will request that Homura Akemi be given this protection if she ever shows up again.

Backfire: Madoka will request a power that "lets her work with her friends to do whatever she has to."
