In keeping with the preaching theme, Marco could gain the ability to hypnotize but with a twist: while his abilities will work very well with large groups of people, it will become less effective the smaller the group becomes until he finds it not working at all on a single individual. For example, with one person, it would be no different than his normal conversations, a couple of people would find him hard to ignore even if they don’t necessarily agree, three would begin to take more seriously, and so forth.
Additionally, if you’d like it to work through the network, the ability would become weaker. While he can still somewhat sway opinions, Marco won’t actually be able to give out orders and find them followed.
