God Boons

◉ NAVIGATION

GOD BOONS

INFORMATION

With the gods at war with each other, they offer tantalizing additional bonuses to their loyal followers -- but these also come with a few strings attached. Will you join a side, or remain neutral in the conflict?

Characters can be recruited in two ways: by the god, or by a god follower. The gods can open their realms to anyone at any time if a character wishes to enter. Followers always have access to their god's respective realms, and can bring in a recruit to swear allegiance.

The gods will not punish a character if they leave their side; that would only solidify their resolve to leave. However, they will remove any boons and bonuses they might have granted them. If the character rejoins, their status with be reset to entry level, and they will need to work their way up in the ranks once more.

HOW TO ALLY WITH A GOD AND RECEIVE BOONS

When a character completes a tier requirement, you can submit the form below to have them receive acknowledgment and rewards. Threads don't have to be finished at the time of submission, but they should be a good way through, and please don't handwave them entirely. You may request as many of the listed tier rewards as you like once you've reached the appropriate tier.

You may notice sections for "Offering Description" and "Reward Description". The table below is just a sample of the boons available and the requirements to get them. You don't have to do or ask for these exact things. You may choose to replace any of the listed deeds or rewards with an appropriate substitute of your own design, and they will be judged on an individual basis.

The gods favor certain traits and actions of their followers. The Fog God, for instance, values strength, freedom, and invoking fear in others. She highly encourages her children to live freely, without the inhibitions of human society. Some examples can include demonstrating the power of monsters to frighten the human populace, killing a rival in revenge, disrupting a serious occasion just for the hell of it, or generally doing things without caring for the consequences.

On the other hand, the Fourth God values cunning, subterfuge, and control. His priorities lie in furthering the technology of the peninsula, introducing progress to the world, and standing up against the Fog God. Some examples of deeds include spreading the secrets of others (especially Fog followers), manipulating monsters and/or humans to work against the Fog, or inventing some new technology.

If a character's request doesn't align enough with these ideals, their god may bestow upon them something more to their liking without warning. This is effectively an IC explanation for a request a character wouldn't make on their own. If you would like to do this, outline your request in the backfire section.

If your character wants to leave a god, you are free to do so without notice or handwave a prayer on the respective god's page. Keep in mind that leaving a god will remove all previously gained boons!

THE FOG GOD
The Fog God, so they say, is a usurper of the Day and Night gods popularly worshipped on the peninsula. It is she who brings in unsuspecting souls from other worlds and warps their bodies into monstrous forms. She is capricious and becomes jealous easily. She enjoys the chaos that currently plagues Ryslig -- both watching and causing it. It would mean the universe to her if her monsters would go out and cause some discord of their own.

Worship and Pray to the Fog

THE FOURTH GOD
The Fourth God is an artificial god created by Dr. Liewen, in an effort to make a being strong enough to combat the Fog. He was imprisoned and isolated by the Fog God, until the actions of her monsters allowed him to be freed. He now possesses a burning hatred for her and her followers, and will stop at nothing to destroy her. He is calculating and distant, and desires control of the peninsula.

Worship and Pray to the Fourth

THE KEY TO DYSTER
Those who side with the Fog God will be provided with a silver key, old and dull fog-silver. It fits in any lock, no matter the style, and opening a door with it will bring them to Dyster. They will be greeted by the people of the town, who are more than happy to see them. Here, they can stay for as long as they want, and partake in the feasting.

This is not the Dyster some arrivals may remember, and people who try to visit it on the peninsula proper will find an empty ghost town. The people in Dyster don't seem quite dead or alive, but they treat any follower of the Fog God like royalty, and they will eagerly accept new followers in their fold. They will provide them with a more than willing human sacrifice if the monster is hungry. It will calm their hunger but not indefinitely.

Those who stay for periods of time in the city may feel an unnatural loyalty to the Fog God and her cause, to the point of worship. Characters can leave by using the key against any door in town, and return to where they had first entered.
THE ARCADE'S KEYCARD
Those who side with the Fourth God will be provided an unusually modern-looking plastic card. There's no writing on the front or the back, but there is a hologram of rainbow hues on a black background that flashes wildly when the card is moved around. Insert the card on the side of a door like a slot, and they will be transported to the Arcade when they open it.

They will arrive in the grand atrium of an enormous mall and entertainment complex, all in glowing neon and glassy linoleum. Technology from various different time periods is available here, up through the early 1990s – matching the day-glo transparent-plastic aesthetic. The TVs and video games, film reels in the giant-screen theater and ballroom-sized-ball-pit balls, cannot be removed from the complex, which rivals Dyster in size, and the only shopfronts with merchandise seem to be the food court, which is free, and run by robots. It's a significant upgrade from the seedy arcade it was, before October 2022 gave the Fourth God a boost. However, the same set of large red curtains can be found, behind which lies a sterile looking room full of seated humans with strange visors who will not respond to any sort of stimuli. There is a large basin towards the back filled with water, and any time a human is killed or fed on a robot will enter and clean the area.

Those who stay for periods of time in the Arcade may feel an unnatural loyalty to the Fourth God and his cause, to the point of camaraderie. Characters can leave by pressing the card against a door and return to where they had first entered.
RESURRECTION

Loyal followers may resurrect in their god’s domain, rather than where their life ended. When they choose to leave, their god will return them to a safe place on the peninsula (at the player's discretion).

To a follower's guests, the environs may seem strange, but no harm shall come to those who awaken here. They're welcome to stay a while to recuperate, but a permanent residency would be frowned upon; eventually, they may find themselves guided out of this realm, returning back to Ryslig somewhere safe - and sometimes just within reach of the person who protected them in the first place.

TIER ONE

Tier one boons are small, and are mainly a way for the gods to give their converts a taste of what they can offer. These rewards are immediately available to anyone who pledges themselves to a god. When initially pledging to a god, it is not necessary to submit a prayer--though, if you would like to handwave a prayer, you are free to do so. Therefore, it is not necessary to include an offering for this tier.

FOG
A minor power appropriate to the Fog God (think fear, strength, destruction)

Smallest rooms in Dyster (a single bed, no window)

Resurrecting inside Dyster after 2-3 days (regardless of fog days)

A small aesthetic body modification tailored towards fear and intimidation (e.g. extra/bigger teeth, red/scarier eyes, claws if your monster doesn’t already have them)

An instinctive knowledge of how many days they have left before the hunger overtakes them
LIEWEN
A minor spell appropriate to the Fourth God (think stealth, control, invasion)

Smallest rooms in the arcade (barely a bed and a radio, you can hear the arcade outside)

Resurrecting inside the arcade after 2-3 days (regardless of fog days)

A small aesthetic cybernetic body modification (e.g. wires, circuit boards, Tron lines)

A death counter plugin on their PC that has a little image of their head with an x00 number of lives lost next to it. If a character were to die more than 99 times, it would simply start over.

TIER TWO

Tier two boons are larger, and are the first true rewards for doing a god's bidding. It represents a character being ready to dedicate themselves to a god's cause. A character might reach tier two by sacrificing a human to their god, successfully converting a neutral character, or performing public deeds in the name of their god. They also must be a follower for at least a month.

FOG
A second power appropriate to the Fog God

A bigger room in Dyster (queen-size bed, windows, storage)

Instant resurrection in Dyster after being killed.

A major body modification (e.g. flightless wings, large horns, extra limbs)

Taking on a new way to feed (flesh, energy, souls). This doesn’t replace your old one, but gives you a second option.
LIEWEN
A second spell appropriate to the Fourth God

A bigger room in the arcade (soundproof, larger, queen-sized bed)

Instant resurrection in the arcade after being killed

A modified fog form. While an alternate form assumed during fog days is available to everyone, a Fourth follower’s fog form may include cybernetic limbs or other changes appropriate to Fourth. This is a result of the Fourth God attempting to remove the Fog’s influence.

Extending the protection of the arcade to a neutral character of the follower’s choosing. That character, upon death, will resurrect in the Arcade after 2-3 days (regardless of fog days). He will never protect a Fog follower.

TIER THREE

You're getting serious. You've got your sleeves firmly rolled up and however much blood you get on your hands in the process, so be it. You've done your action and maybe you balked a little at first, but now that you know what it really takes, you're still all-in.

Tier three rewards are for truly devout followers, and it takes a great act to appease the gods enough to get here. Such acts might include a mass sacrifice of people, the successful conversion of an opposing follower, or killing an opposing follower. (Keep in mind that killing or sacrificing in self-defense, or for their own reasons, does not count - it must be expressly done for their god!)

FOG
A third major power, appropriate to the Fog God

A house in Dyster (the works)

Immortality. Only destroying the brain or the heart can kill a tier three Fog follower.

A new, alternate monster form, subject to mod approval. Some examples would include having a beefed-up fog form (go wild on the horror!), or switching at will to a closely related monster type (e.g. gargoyles into dragons).

Exchanging the cybernetic modification imparted by the Fourth God for an aesthetic monstrous modification of your choice. Please see common monster traits for details about the cybernetic modification.

Increased ferocity and strength and lowered inhibitions while in fog form.

Extending the protection of Dyster to a neutral character of the follower’s choosing. That character, upon death, will resurrect in Dyster after 2-3 days (regardless of fog days). She will never protect a Fourth follower.
LIEWEN
A third major spell, appropriate to the Fourth God

A large room in the arcade (the works)

Instantly resurrect via static in any TV or radio of your choice.

The ability to teleport from one location to another using radios. Monsters only have to touch the radio, and imagine the location where they wish to go. Note that the target location also needs a radio that is turned on.

You can regenerate missing limbs or other body parts while in the arcade, but this will take some time, is painful, and the resulting parts may have a cybernetic look to them.

Removing the biological need for conventional food (not humans), sleep, or even breathing.

Immunity to the memory loss incurred from multiple deaths. This is not a perfect reward, as Fourth is not a true god and has a higher rate of error for difficult abilities. (This is a loophole in case you still want to play out memory loss.)

PRIESTS

You will do anything in service of your god. You are theirs to use as they see fit. You know you're on the right side of history, and you'll do whatever is in your power to make sure your god prospers.

The priests of each god gain unique and powerful abilities. The abilities favored by each god are explained below, but you may request a different power instead if one suits you better. In order to obtain priesthood, a follower must be in tier three, and have been in Ryslig for at least four months. When asking for priesthood, please explain in great detail the lengths to which your character has gone for their god, and the deeds they have done in their name. These will be judged on a case-by-case basis.

Please do not ask in the god prayer boxes for ideas for a Priest offering. Priest offerings must be something you have OOCly devised yourself. You may submit a Priest form with an offering you have already come up with, request the relevant god somehow prompts your character to perform it, and then (if approved) ICly ask in the god prayer box to receive this prompt. However, things your character does entirely on their own initiative will be more highly looked upon by the gods as proof of their devotion and motivation, and are far more likely to qualify as a Priest offering.

FOG
Fog priests are instantly identifiable by their gray capes, made to resemble the Fog God’s long hair. The collar and hem of the cape are frayed, and when the wind blows through them it almost seems like parts of them trail off with it, like the fog itself...but that’s just a trick of the light, right?

When priests speak, their voices have a whisper behind them.

Fog priests may command the fog as they wish, bringing it forth where there is none and manipulating it around them. Gargoyles and trolls shrouded in fog need not fear the sun, and day-blind monsters have perfect vision. A character with a fog form may freely transform in this as well.
LIEWEN
Fourth priests do not have any set outfits, but they are given a unique marking on their hand when accepted by the Fourth. It may be a power symbol, a pattern of wires, or even a symbol from the character’s home world. Whatever it is, it will glow when other Fourth followers are near.

Fourth priests may temporarily stop time in their vicinity, affecting anyone who does not follow the Fourth God. They can also access the rsdos network at will without use of a laptop.

Character Name: L Lawliet
Alignment: Fog
Offering Description: Conversion of a neutral character, Mello
Link: Here.
Reward Tier: 2
Reward Description:
A second power appropriate to the Fog god: Animated Shadow, variation on darkness manipulation powers. Basically I'd like for L to be able to manipulate the shadows of himself and others; bright light saturation would render this power pretty much useless (as would total dark), but in most environments he could cause shadows to inflict physical harm on others or use them to hold others in place. In most cases*, this would be limited to traits the shadow possesses (ie, a human shadow wouldn't have more strength than a human, a wolf's shadow would be able to bite with the force of the wolf that casts that shadow.) Any psychic, feeding or mental abilities possessed by the shadow's caster couldn't be replicated through the shadow; for example, a demon's shadow wouldn't be able to take a soul or possess someone. The effects would be purely physical and limited by the strength of whatever the shadow belongs to.

A bigger room in Dyster (queen-size bed, windows, storage): Yes, please

Instant resurrection in Dyster after being killed: Yes, please

A major body modification (e.g. flightless wings, large horns, extra limbs): I'm happy with the physical appearance of L's monster form... but to go with the power I'm requesting, I'd really like for him to have a scarier, tougher shadow*. Essentially something larger than a monster his size could feasibly cast, with powerful wings, very large teeth and curved, cruel claws. It would increase in size and scariness when L is paranoid, defensive or hostile.

Taking on a new way to feed (flesh, energy, souls). This doesn’t replace your old one, but gives you a second option.: Energy, please!
Backfire (for abilities characters wouldn't ask for ICly): L's new shadow has a mind of its own and behaves maliciously, and any damage taken by any shadow he controls (his own or others) is inflicted and felt directly on his physical body.

Character Name: Mello
Alignment: Fog

Offering Description: Himself
Link: This is about as genuine as he gets
Reward Tier: Tier 1
Reward Description:

•Minor power: additional strength since he primarily operates on speed/stealth as a vamp

•Smallest room in Dyster (single bed, no window)

•Res inside of Dyster after 2-3 days regardless of fog days

•Small aesthetic body modification (It's minor but while his eyes already turn red when hungry/angry/frenzied, I want them to glow red like bam.)

•(Swapping ability to sense hunger approaching as discussed) Mello has ICly asked Foggy to remove all memories of L. This would be a complete wipe as though they've never encountered each other, before or during Ryslig. There will be no flashbacks if they cross paths, and if someone were to straight up recount each and every detail to Mello, it would draw a complete blank. Any record of interaction on the network would be coughed up to Elias doing what he does and messing with people and will be dismissed.

Naturally, this will create holes but Mello is still very much Mello. He will know his enemies from back home, he will know that he was bred to potentially succeed the world's greatest detective and that this detective subsequently died on his final case, but the who of it will be something of which he's unaware. Since, canonically, his driving force was always "to be the best" and not necessarily to avenge L (though he used revenge as an excuse at least once) this shouldn't alter his underlying drive/personality in any way.

If, by chance, Mello decides not to follow Foggy anymore: the boon will instantly disappear, bringing the entirety of his memories regarding L back in one shot. He'll cross that bridge if/when he comes to it.

Character Name: Amanda Young
Alignment: Fog
Offering Description: After praying for guidance, the Fog God directed her to retaliate against those who would hold her back. Recognizing herself to be her own worst enemy, Amanda risks her memories (which she views as the entirety of one's "self" and not worth living without) by committing an elaborate, ritual public torture and suicide. Suicide was accomplished by a trap she designed and built specifically for the purpose.

In addition (since it's advised to "explain in great detail the lengths to which your character has gone for their god"), prior to this, Amanda has also:
- Served as likely the fastest convert in Ryslig history; her first action upon waking in-game and encountering a monster was to ask who resurrected her here so she could pledge herself to them. She formally joined the Fog and obtained her Dyster key only minutes later.
- Tested and killed humans in the Fog's name. The first test subject's corpse was put on public display with a dedication attached.
- Convinced Nagisa Shingetsu to seek and join the Fog God.
- Killed a Fourth follower (Clarence). She did so in order to protect one of several elaborate machines she'd built to further the Fog God's aims, as a part of another Fog follower's (Judai's, specifically) plot. She herself died in the process.

When Amanda unveils her gift, when she decides to cast her memories aside and endure the pain...it seems like any other eerie night in Ryslig. Atop the decaying building, the air is still, and the sounds of the bustling city are muffled in the distance, impartial to the sacrifice made.

Normally, her body would remain in the torturous contraption, rotting away until the fog rolls in later in the month. An entire week of the lifeless, pathetic mortal flesh gradually losing its colors as flies have their way with it.

But this is far from a normal occasion.

It doesn't happen immediately; a few long minutes pass as wind echos across the abandoned building, with no other sounds save for the lone nymph's quiet sniffles for Amanda's corpse. Bit by bit though, he's joined by a flurry of whispers, a tell-tale sign of the Fog's presence. Their words are almost too quiet, incomprehensible, and yet the voices begin to rise, louder, and louder. Fog suddenly begins to creep all around, enveloping the building and blanketing the night sky.

The whispers give way for a chorus of praise, cheering. Shadowy figures stand seeming just outside of the fog, clapping and raising their hands in admiration. It's not just people either; shadowy objects. . .no, devices, fill the fog too, as the figures cheerfully give themselves to these torture devices. One's head explodes as vice tightens around their face, another continues to sing the fog's praise as they saw their limbs off. Others seem to happily throw themselves over where the edge of the building would be, all with an eerie grin seen through the barrier of fog.

As for Amanda, the voices cheer and chant for her. The blood she's choked on begins to reverse, crawling up her mangled body, seeping back into her mouth and wounds. Tendrils of fog wrap around her many torn limbs and link back to her lifeless torso, seemingly stitching them back together like a misty, continuous thread. And as for the spike that took her heart, it too becomes coat in fog, warping and twisting in her chest, and until a beautiful, icy flower bursts through. However, there is no blood. Instead, the flower settles delicately over her jigsaw shaped scar.

Life flows back into the devotee, and when Amanda opens her eyes again, her torture device shatters like ice. Instead, she'll find herself in the arms of the avatar of the Fog God herself, head tucked gently beneath the chin of the goddess. (Should Nagisa still be present, however, he'll only see a vague figure in the fog.)

The Fog God strokes Amanda's hair gently, returning her strength, and bringing with a gift. A long, flowing cloak forms around Amanda, keeping her warm despite the Fog's trademark chill.

Finally, the Fog God speaks, gazing down at her pet with fond eyes.

"To think, dear child, you'd figure it out oh so quickly. I am impressed."

She cups Amanda's chin, gently lifting it up. "You showed me your hatred, tore yourself apart, screamed without using any words...and once you shed that ugly past, you gave birth to a beautiful, vibrant flower."

The goddess takes a step back, still smiling sweetly, like a proud mother. She then turns her back, spreading her arm. The fog parts briefly, a vision for Amanda's eyes alone. It's a vision that goes far beyond the border of the pleateau, showing another blanket of far that creeps across the ground. It too, disperses, showing a vast, greyed out land that rolls on and on. Massive dried up lakes, rolling hills of ash, petrified trees, it looks as if there was indeed a sprawling land outside of Ryslig at one point, but now, it's just dead land.

"My poor, lost Witness and Priest of Love saw this, too. The land ruined by the humans that forced my siblings to go at each other's throats. . .it was beautiful, for a time." The Fog God brings a clutched hand to her chest. "Those humans destroyed it. They didn't deserve that beauty. So I cloaked it in fog before the world could truly fall apart, and left them to perish. The land you all reside in now is simply that, just for you. A slice of heaven, as some of you may say. And that is beautiful in itself, no?"

She turns back to Amanda, raising a hand to give her cheek one final stroke.

"My dear child. . .my dear Beautiful Priest, so full of passion. Serve me, love me, and let no other stand in your way, ever again."

"As her hand parts from Amanda, so does most of the mist clear in a grand flourish. Amanda will find herself standing there with Nagisa atop the roof - fully reborn and cloaked in her own personal fog."

Character Name: Aunamee
Alignment: Fog
Offering Description: A human sacrifice and a v nifty watch.
Link: Here.
Reward Tier: 2
Reward Description: A second power, instant resurrection, ability to feed on souls, larger room in Dyster.

For his second power, I'd like him to develop the ability to perform grotesque mimicry. Aunamee would gain the ability to make himself look and sound like another person, but with one major horrifying difference. For instance, he can perfectly imitate the little girl down the block, but now her eyes are missing. He can mimic the milkman, but now the milkman has a cavernous hole in his gut filled with teeth. These differences can either be hidden or flaunted as an intimidation tactic. All of the disguises would be illusory, which means that if someone touches him, they'll feel his bones.

Aunamee would be able to mimic anyone he's killed (human or monster) for three hours, or anyone in his line of sight for three minutes. Breaking the line of sight would cause the illusion to crumble.
Backfire (for abilities characters wouldn't ask for ICly): For his second power, Aunamee would've simply asked for the ability to look human more frequently.

Character Name: Noa Kaiba
Alignment: Fog
Offering Description: The main Offering is a combination two main things, and a few little things that just pad the resume so to speak;

First of course is his involvement in the current event (Creating a virus alongside AM, helping to hack and invade the Fourth God's direct network by inputting this through the Simulacrum!Mike, and further keeping an eye on the results...before Trying (and sadly failing) to keep Mike safe. Thanks for that, Tsukikage)

There is then, as the second point, the precursor to this-Noa, as he swore to the Fog God, stopped at nothing to search through Liewen Laboratories for information on Liewen himself. (He would have passed this information to the Fog God herself in the form of a prayer-and actually would have begun creating his virus at that point in time, as Mike's request to him later on would simply be the 'missing piece' in his original plan)

On top of this as worth noting, he successfully guaranteed that all control of the Liewen Laboratories ends in high ranking Fog Followers, going so far as to quietly make certain anyone stained in public image is re-hired in secret (Judai, Amanda)-the literal 'God Research Labs' which Amanda in particular works within are a key point to this.

In addition to his fevered digging at any information that could grant the Fog her power back, he notably-despite never claiming any recognition for it-helped extensively to plan the 'Majestic Shadow Event'; getting Amanda involved, helping to refine Judai's ideas, and charging the batteries used for it Personally, using his handy dandy electric powers.

Tl;dr, he's a sneaky sneaky kitty who's got all of Liewen Labs quietly working in ways that allowed this event in the first place. Also his face was blown up at one point for this cause, before a spider attacked him with a freaking odachi and recreated some kind of scene from an old Japanese Scroll, so.

Reward Tier: Priest
Reward Description:

  • Fog Cape but it's not a Cape it's a toasty warm CatCoat MAMA LOVES YOU NOA

  • ECHOEY WHISPER VOICE- in Noa's case it has variable age to it, notably.

  • Command over the fog

Backfire (for abilities characters wouldn't ask for ICly): You can see this backfire in the link abov- Ok not Quite. But it WOULD be hilarious/amazing if Fogmom's Cat Sweater came as close as possible to that level of.... Adorable.

    Character Name: Mike Chilton
    Alignment: Foggy as heck
Offering Description: Pretty much went on a weekend long energy robbing spree that inadvertently spread AM's virus and netted Noa and others new info on the 4th God! The main goal of this was to steal back some of the 4th's energy for the Fog God in order to create a new Obelisk of sorts. Instead, they got the Nap Graveyard! Works for Mike.

FOR OTHER FOG STUFF, Mike has slowly been fighting an uphill battle from 'mostly neutral but desperate to have purpose' with the Fog God to 'WELP THIS IS MY NEW BOSS NOW AND I WON'T QUESTION IT'
-He first got IV to give him an In about two years ago out of desperation when the rest of his gang disappeared. Was Unsure but mostly okay with it!
-Felt a bit better about it all after he changed back into a werewolf Mana botched a request and he became an naga for a bit.
-And back when the Obelisk got wrecked, he tried to make his own. Out of trash, granted, but it was attempt to make something Fog related but neutrally appealing for everyone. It's probably still out there, in the shape of a t-rex now. ART.
-And after finding out Madoka had like, the ESSENCE of the Obelisk in here, was very much ready to be her guard dog and would attempt to deter anyone trying to find out her secret.
-And then there was that Dyster attack one time, and Mike willingly, eagerly, defended the place against neutrals trying to wreck shit. Got one of his spark staff stolen in the process, wow.
-But Mike's biggest turning point was actually when he tiered up to three after a year, and the Fog God actually spoke to him like "bruh u can still be u and protect humans idk why but do ur thing i guess" which as far as he's concerned finally pushed the Fog God from 'tolerable boss' to 'Senpai noticed me and maybe she really is good I guess I have to die for her now.' Since that turning point he's been completely open about being a foggy and is all aboard the crazy train.
-As an example, he's gone from hiding the foggy alignment to just being like hm you enjoy a murder I see i think the fog god is for u i'm sure this is fine i am v tired

BASICALLY Mike has been really chill and less aggressive as far as Fog Followers go, and still greatly encourages folks to find their own paths, laying out lots warnings when it comes to joining a side. But he is still utterly ready and willing to kill for her if told to do so or given a motive, he's just really laid back about it now.

Link: The plan and the HEIST of sorts
    Reward Tier: Priest!!
    Reward Description:
    -Control over Fog
-That's it really. Do u see Mike, he is not a cloak wearer. Would not say no oocly to a collar or to his normal jacket being somewhat tattered and spooky on its edges.
-This might go with control over fog but can his car tires spew out fog when he's going really fast. Not enough to effect anything, just for Aesthetic.
-he doesn't get whispers he's a dog he'd just scare himself with it. Maybe the whispers can manifest with his intimidation shadow power?? idk.
Backfire (for abilities characters wouldn't ask for ICly): this poor decision is backfire enough itself and i'm hoping some neutrals kick his ass

    Reward Tier: Third
Reward Description: Immortality, house, major power, alternate form.

For the major power, I'd like to give him a spell that allows him to view a person's past traumatic experiences. In certain instances (i.e., if someone wants to foreshadow a plot) he can also view a person's future traumatic experiences.

For an alternate form, I'd like him to develop the ability to turn into a fext. While in this form, he will appear human and unblemished, but will have no heartbeat. He will have no additional abilities beyond his boons and would need to return to his lich form to use lich magic. He'll also develop a weakness to glass.

    Character Name: AM
    Alignment: Fog
Offering Description: Well, there's no denying that AM enjoys hurting the Fourth followers. He's actually indiscriminate about who he hurts but shh.

So after reaching Tier 3 by torturing Stocke for infiltrating Dyster, AM did some other things, mostly involving torture. He tortured L and only relented when he agreed to join the Fog.

Most notably, he helped Mike Chilton and Noa create a virus that would enable Mike to hack into the Fourth's network and get the Fog's obelisk back (or a facsimile of it). However, he purposely altered the virus to make it have more adverse affects, but especially toward the Fourth followers. He complained like a little bitch to the Fog God that Mike and Noa wouldn't let him do worse with the virus, so why were they made priests and not him? Come on, Mom! What gives?

So finally he took that virus and with Aunamee created a really super-fun battle royale type arena in devotion to the Fog God. AM did all the major programming for it, though it was hooked to Aunamee's head and was an arena based on his hometown. But he eagerly threw tortures and hazards in there, especially toward the Fourth followers. The only way to gain an advantage in the arena was to make a sacrifice in the Fog God's honor. The two of them taunted people on the network as well, singing praises to the Fog God.
    Link: Battle Royale.
    Reward Tier: Priest, baby!
Reward Description: AM gets the sweet, sweet cape that totally does not interfere with his wings when he flies. Plus the ability to command the fog and the creepy voice effect. Aw yeah.
Backfire (for abilities characters wouldn't ask for ICly): I mean, the fact that he is becoming a priest right after the Battle Royale is going to make him look very suspicious so

Offering Description: Helping to organize/host a Q/A + Sermon focused on Why The Fog Is The Best Option (Best examples are found at Alice's comment and Down, in the following link)
Link: He also helped with gutting and refurbishing the Church in question... The Plan between Egon and Loki is in This link.
    Reward Tier: TWO!
    Reward Description:
    > Instant Dyster Resurrection
    > Bigger Room in Dyster (I guess Dyster has apartments??? neat)

    > MOD: Series of Solid spikes replacing some of his otherwise goo-formed ones along the body. At least two small ones are at the brow. Probably look like this in terms of glassy colour gradient nonsense.

    > POWER: 'Basically Tanuki Mario' - For a limited time, Loki can simply stiffen up and harden in place to protect his nucleus. Unfortunately, he can't move- not even to use his Astral Magic. ...Which basically means someone could theoretically just keep chipping at him until he was forced to release the spell, Whoops.

It's a pretty solid 'statue' however, and fitting with the Fog Aesthetic has a generally Terrifying Visage. IF it does not push the ability over tier 2, exhuding an air of discomfort enough to disuade others from remaining near would be something I'd blend with this, as something to emphasize the Fog-basis.

Also his clothes don't transform with him only his goo so like, I guess, you could steal his clothes or something??

    > Since I'm not interested in an alternative feeding method (He's GOT two!!), would it be possible to take a minor power or alternative boon instead?

Backfire (for abilities characters wouldn't ask for ICly): congrats on outing yourself u nerd (In other words, No)

    Character Name: Ibuki Mioda
    Alignment: Fog
Offering Description: Ibuki and Lucas destroyed one of the Day gods' churches in Her name - and redecorated it, for Foggy purposes - complete with gushing about Her while doing so!
Link: They love their incorporeal mama.
    Reward Tier: Second!
    Reward Description:
    - Second power: Battle cry! Ibuki will now have the ability to let out a powerful howl (though, due to being a fox, it's more like a shriek) as long as she's in her nighttime form; Fog followers will find the sound energizing, fun, and exciting - "like the hype before a concert," as she'd put it - while Fourth followers will find it chills them to the very bone, instilling a feeling of being against something bigger than they are... and it may even paralyze them (at the other player's discretion).
The effects are stronger during the Fog, but only if she's, consequentially, in her Fog form.

    - Bigger room in Dyster (though she's gonna continue not actually living there, sorry mom. It's where she keeps her important mementos!)

    - Instant resurrection in Dyster

    - Large body mod: glowing blood in a familiar shade of pepto-pink. Nothing's eerier than hacking at an opponent only to see them ooze something that looks toxic, right? When shining through the skin, the glow looks red; similar to when you put your fingertips against a flashlight.
Anywhere blood pools (blushing, bruising, etc.) and anywhere the skin is thinner (eyelids, ear tips, mucous membranes like the tongue and inside of cheeks) glows as well, due to the blood showing through everything. Visible veins also glow through the skin, hence the eye detail in the picture.

    - Second feeding method: energy! TIME TO SUCK ON SOME FANS --

Backfire (for abilities characters wouldn't ask for ICly): None needed!

    Reward Tier: Tier Two!

    Reward Description:
    - Second Power: Ability to inject a "venom" with his bite that heightens the chemical emotional state of the bitten, with an effect that can last from thirty seconds to five minutes depending on how long he can keep his teeth in; an already terrified human's panic will amplify as he feeds off of them, while, say, an enraged one-on-one-battle opponent would go essentially berserk on him when bitten, an excited/happy person would become wildly ecstatic (and if, well, the biting didn't "kill it", so to speak), etc. (If possible, the "venom" would also swell and blacken the veins around the bite site while the effect is active - which'd do nothing other than look cool.)
    - Body Modification: Extension of his spine into a long and vaguely ratlike skin-wrapped tail - flexible enough to be reasonably "animated", but essentially cosmetic; the sharp-looking tip is just his old tailbone and ain't causing anyone harm.
    - A bigger room in Dyster.
    - Instant resurrection in Dyster.
